Brian Cadd
Come along to experience some Cadd Magic. It’s been a long, strange trip. Along the way, Brian Cadd – who was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2007 – has earned the love and respect of his peers.
Jimmy Barnes says: “Brian Cadd is one of my heroes. He has a body of work like Ray Charles and Hank Williams.”
“Brian Cadd is one of the finest songwriters Australia has ever produced,” adds Ian “Molly” Meldrum, whose first job in the music industry was as a roadie for The Groop, Brian’s band in the ’60s.
Molly once introduced the artist to Elton John by saying: “Brian is probably to Australia what you are to England.”
As well as thousands of live shows – “It’s a real addiction, I don’t know what I’d do if I couldn’t do it; I can’t play golf, I can’t fish” – Brian has made his mark as a songwriter. His songs have been recorded by Ringo Starr, Joe Cocker, Glen Campbell, The Pointer Sisters, Bonnie Tyler, Yvonne Elliman, Charlie Daniels, Dobie Gray, Cilla Black and Gene Pitney.

With a repertoire that impresses, Taylor Sheridan has mesmerized audiences at some of Australia’s premier music festivals, including The Red Hot Summer Tour. His magnetic stage presence has seen him share the spotlight with music legends like Jimmy Barnes, John Farnham, Gladys Knight, Pete Murray, Daryl Braithwaite, and Vanessa Amorosi. Sheridan’s musical journey took root in the heartland of Australia, where his natural storytelling ability through music was cultivated. ‘I love the nature of telling a story with an acoustic guitar,’ he shares, ‘and singing soulfully has always felt like second nature to me.’ Sheridan’s path to stardom is paved with the release of two critically acclaimed independent EPs and a series of singles that have not only topped the iTunes Top 10 but also struck a chord with audiences everywhere.
As a former key member of the iconic Australian band Taxiride, he has demonstrated his versatility and breadth as a musician. As Sheridan embarks on the next chapter of his career, he is set to enchant an even larger audience with his eagerly anticipated debut album, Troubadour. This album is more than a collection of songs; it is a rich tapestry of heartfelt stories and soul-stirring performances.

Stiff Gins - album launch
Stiff Gins, featuring Wiradjuri/Yorta Yorta woman Kaleena Briggs and Yuwaalaraay woman Nardi Simpson, form a powerful musical duo.
Their fourth studio album 'Crossroads' marks the 25-year career point for Australia's longest-performing all-female First Nations band. It also reaffirms the band's status as Matriarchal pioneers in the Australian Blak music scene. Produced by Syd Green (Casey Chambers, 19Twenty) “Crossroads” combines Stiff Gins signature blend of folk, roots, and First Nations language and culture with newfound depths of lyrical storytelling, intricate harmony and rich layers of instrumentation. The result is a sonic landscape resonating with both introspection and resilience, all forged against a political backdrop that advocates for increased representation and recognition of First Nations people in Australia.

As Stiff Gins navigate these crossroads, they craft a musical tapestry that resonates with themes of resilience, self-discovery, and letting go. The album reflects personal and collective evolution while baring testament to Nardi Simpson and Kaleena Briggs’ enduring spirit and sisterhood.
“Crossroads” is a celebration of Stiff Gins role as cultural custodians of Australian musical environment, one that invites past into present, merges tradition with innovation and seeks to sing a future overflowing with strength and grace.
